Water Management Services for Apartments in Bangalore
Water is the most expensive and most regulated system in a Bangalore apartment. Reshma Facilities Management operates and maintains every part of it: the water treatment plant, the sewage treatment plant, swimming pools and water bodies, and rainwater harvesting.
Our water management services
Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
Filtration, softening, RO and chlorination for borewell, tanker and Cauvery water. Daily TDS and hardness logs.
Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Daily operation of SBR, MBR, MBBR and ASP plants to KSPCB norms, with treated water reused for flushing and gardens.
Swimming Pool & Water Body
Daily chlorine and pH control, cleaning, filtration and algae prevention for pools, fountains and ponds.
Rainwater Harvesting
Maintenance of recharge pits, filters, storage and pipelines so the system actually collects water and stays BWSSB compliant.
Why water costs so much in East Bangalore
Large parts of Whitefield, Sarjapur Road, Varthur and the surrounding belt were added to the city in 2007 and still wait for full piped Cauvery supply. Many apartments here run on borewells and private tankers.
That puts three pressures on the association: – Tanker and borewell water is hard and high in dissolved solids, so the WTP works harder – Every litre of treated STP water reused is a litre not bought from a tanker – KSPCB and BWSSB rules on STP operation and rainwater harvesting carry penalties
A well-run water system can save an association lakhs a year. A badly run one costs the same amount in tankers, repairs and fines.
Operators on our own payroll
We employ our WTP and STP operators directly and match them to the treatment process installed in your building. [CONFIRM] Many facility companies subcontract the plant room to a vendor who visits weekly. That arrangement usually works for the first year and starts failing in the second.
