Common plumbing problems we fix
Low water pressure on top floors. Usually a pressure setting, an air-locked line or a failing booster pump.
Leaking risers and wet walls. Found early, a leak is a joint repair. Left for months, it damages walls and ceilings in several flats.
Discoloured or rusty water. Often old galvanised pipes shedding into the supply, common in buildings over 15 years old. Chlorination will not fix it. We trace whether the source is the tank or the pipe before recommending work.
Blocked drains and overflowing manholes. Cleared and then traced to the cause, whether grease, roots or a sagging line.
Water wastage. Running overflows, stuck float valves and hidden leaks can waste thousands of litres a day. In tanker-fed buildings that is a direct cost.

Cost
A resident plumber is priced per month as part of the facility contract. One-time repairs and drainage work are quoted after inspection.
