Why photographs

Nobody from the committee is going to climb into the tank. A cleaning report without photos is a claim with nothing to check it against. We attach photos of the inside of the tank, before and after, to every report.

WTP tank cleaning

Water treatment plants have their own tanks: raw water tanks, treated water tanks and filter vessels. Sediment and biofilm build up in these just as they do in sumps, and a dirty treated water tank undoes the work the plant just did. We clean them on the same schedule as your sumps, coordinated with the WTP operator so supply is not interrupted.

Construction tank cleaning

New buildings hand over tanks full of cement slurry, sand, debris and sometimes leftover formwork. Water from these tanks should not reach flats until they are cleaned. We clean construction tanks before first fill, which is useful for builders at handover and for associations taking over a new property.

How often should tanks be cleaned?

Twice a year is common practice for apartment sumps and overhead tanks. Buildings on borewell or tanker water need it more often because more sediment comes in. Older tanks, especially over 15 years old, need cleaning more often still.

Cleaning without cutting water for a day

We clean tanks one at a time and plan around peak usage, so most buildings do not lose water supply for a full day.

Cost of tank cleaning in Bangalore

Tank cleaning is priced by tank capacity in litres and the number of tanks. Sumps and larger tanks cost more because sludge removal takes longer.

Frequently asked questions
